With a student faculty ratio of 3:1, AACM goes beyond what you will learn in a standard weekend course.
Along with traditional cosmetic toxin and filler injections, you will also earn experience and knowledge in toxin usage for migraines, among several others.

Who Is Eligible?
Registered Nurses/ Nurse Practitioners
Registered Nurses are allowed to inject cosmetic toxin and fillers in all states (though some require physician oversight). We give nurses (including those with a compact RN license) and Nurse Practitioners the opportunity to expand their skills and move into the aesthetic field and out of the hospital.
Physician Assistants
Physician Assistants are highly qualified for becoming aesthetic injectors because of their advanced skill set and knowledge. They can legally inject in all states and open their own aesthetic practice. PAs do not require a physician's supervision.
Physicians/Dentists
Physicians and dentists may already recommend aesthetic injections to certain patients in their practices for both cosmetic and medical reasons. However, AACM provides the opportunity to expand their practice by performing these injections themselves.
The American Academy of Cosmetic Medicine accepts students from all around the world. The class, hands-on training, and certification take place in Washington State.

At AACM, we aim to provide the best instruction for every student in our course. Our student-to-instructor ratio allows for one-on-one hands-on training with our instructor so you can feel confident in your training. At AACM, we provide the following:

Courses with Certification
Beginner
Learn the basics of neurotoxin and filler injections including the most popular toxin injections and fillers.
10 Hour Course (Sat)
- Hands on training with neuromodulators in forehead, glabella, and crow's feet.
- Hands on training with filler in lips and cheeks.
- Learn the basics of facial anatomy and aging.
- Cover the fundamentals of facial anatomy and how they relate to toxins and fillers.
- AACM beginner course completion certificate and eligible for certification.
- Optional 3-day live shadowing of Dr. Sajan or Dr. Khezri.
Advanced
Learn more advanced injection techniques and procedures and get a refresher on the basics.
20 Hour Course (Sat + Sun)
- Hands on training with neuromodulators in advances areas including hyperhydrosis, lip flip, platysmal bands, migraine treatment and more.
- Hands on training with more advanced filler injections such as the nasolabial folds, temples, under eyes, etc.
- Live training with harvesting, centrifuging, and injecting plasma.
- AACM advanced course completion certificate and eligible for certification.
- Optional 7-day live shadowing of Dr. Sajan or Dr. Khezri.

90 Days (Complete on your time)
- Opportunity to shadow for 3 days in a clinical setting - days can be sequential or separated
- Eligibility for an online board certification program upon completion

Certificate
After the end of each course there will be an oral and written exam. Upon passing both exams you will be certified by the AACM and will be granted permission to utilize our initials FAACM with you name and practice.
Our Hands-On Training
At AACM, our hands-on training provides an incredible experience for every student, no matter their course. During your training, you will experience the following hands-on-training:
- Beginner’s Course Toxin Training: A minimum of 4 injection areas on the face
- Beginner’s Course Filler Training: A minimum of 4 injection areas on the face
- Advanced Course Toxin Training: A minimum of 10 injection areas on the face
- Advanced Course Filler Training: A minimum of 8 injection areas on the face
Certification Program
If you are already an injector but want to gain your certification credentials, you can become verified at AACM through our experience pathway. Our certification program requires you to pass a written/oral exam and to submit photos of three or more injectables you have completed. Once you pass, you can use FAACM after your name. The certification program costs $99 per month, but the exam is free. You will also gain 24/7 access to Dr. Sajan and Dr. Khezri for any questions or guidance you need.

Dr. Shahriar Khezri is an experienced aesthetic medicine physician who continues to inject on a daily basis. His philosophy focuses on elevating the patient’s natural features to meet their goals by using knowledge of facial anatomy and ideal aesthetics.
Dr. Javad Sajan is a plastic surgeon and accomplished injector who has already educated many injectors within his practice. He personalizes his technique to every patient to help get them the best possible results.
As the founders of the American Institute of Cosmetic Medicine, Dr. Khezri and Dr. Sajan are dedicated to providing high-quality education. Safety, results, and knowledge are the backbone of AACM and the available courses.
